Evangeline looks forward to getting off the Island

Evangeline Lilly has lived and worked in Hawaii for the six years of LOST but says her idyllic home is not as perfect as most would imagine.

“I think that on a certain level, living in paradise has been a little bit of a prison for me because you don’t have a lot of freedom,” said Lilly. “It’s not like working in Los Angeles where you can go out to Las Vegas for the weekend and take off and get away. When we’re on the island, we’re on the island. You’re stuck and you can’t go anywhere.”

Lost is due to come to its final conclusion soon and Lilly recently revealed that she and her costars can’t wait.

“I think a lot of us are ready for the end now,” she said. “We have Sangria Thursdays. It’s become a Season Six tradition.

“It’s the last season so It’s like the year you get out of school and everything kind of goes a bit haywire in class.”
