It’s been a long time since Evangeline and boyfriend Dominic Monaghan have been properly photographed together (there was that one shot of them in a car, with Dominic slouching to hide) but here is a shot of them at the premiere of The Wrestler at the recent 2008 Toronto International Film Festival. They walked the red carpet separately but were snapped together inside.

Evangeline Lilly regrets appearing in men’s magazine Maxim.

Lilly, 29, insists she only stripped for the pictures because she was told to. She explains, “I was inexperienced back then and quite trusting so I had to learn how to deal with that.

“There’s some ugly burned bridges in the past because I put my trust in people and they just didn’t follow through.

Spotted:

“Evangeline Lilly and Dominic Monaghan, sharing a romantic evening at So.Cial at Le Magasin in Vancouver’s Gastown neighborhood. The Lost stars “seemed very comfortable and affectionate with each other and smiled at other guests,” an onlooker tells us.”

Evangeline Lilly stumbled into acting while she was “doing a psychological exercise” by going to auditions.
The 29-year-old simply wanted to challenge her fears of acting up in front of the harshest critics when she discovered she had a talent for the craft.

She explains, “I had no intention for it to connect to a job. So when I got a job, I had to sit down and go, ‘Do I want to be an actor?’”

Evangeline Lilly never goes to the beach anymore, despite living in beautiful Hawaii.

Evi has come to hate being seen as a bikini babe and the attention that comes with it — she’s had to give up her love of the sun, sea and surf.

Lilly explains, “I’ve had to change my whole life,

“For the last two years in Hawaii I won’t be caught dead on the beach. I can’t go because I’m tired of seeing myself in a bikini on the cover of a tabloid magazine and being that woman.

September 22, 2008: Evangeline is seen checking in at LAX airport. She was probably headed back to beautiful Hawaii to continue filming Lost. Lucky girl!

A press conference for Lost was held in Beverly Hills recently, and Evangeline, along with Naveen Andrews, attended.

Evangeline Lilly says she is constantly having to hide her ugly side – for the sake of women everywhere.

Evangeline says she makes a point of playing down her imperfections through concern for her fellow females.

She explains, “I know women with eating disorders or who are not happy with their bodies.
