Metro.co.uk has a brand new interview with Evangeline to promote the new Cool Water campaign she is the face of.

As well as talking about Cool Water, Evangeline talks about her past jobs, about being a missionary, about what she wants to do after Lost is finished, and much more. Read the interview below:

You’re selling perfume. You must be thrilled.
Yes, it’s very exciting. This is the first fragrance I’ve endorsed. I’ve been careful what I’ve put my name to. This was an great opportunity.

When you see the posters of yourself writhing around on a beach trying to look sexy, what do you think?
You just have to cross your fingers and hope for the best while you’re shooting it and I think the results are good. I’m very happy with them. So often in this industry you do something and think it’s going great but then you see the results and think: ‘What have I done?’ This is the complete opposite.

Were you really a missionary?
Technically, I suppose so, but I only went to the Philippines for three weeks to do work with my church. It’s become this story where people think I was doing it for years. It was very short-term. I was 18 and went as part of a team. We lived in the jungle and backpacked. It suited me because I love nature. I’m not a girl who needs to put on a whole face of make-up before I leave the house.

Below is a video of Evangeline shooting the new Cool Water ad. It took place in Antiqua and took 2 days to film.

Evangeline Lilly says filming ‘Lost’ ruined her skin. Evangeline, 29, who plays Kate Austen on the show, admits she started surfing in the rough sea to cope with stress of filming, but the salty water soon took its toll on her complexion.

She said: “Last season of the show I surfed constantly, which was cathartic for me, but the sun and salt water wreaked havoc with my skin so, for the first time in my life, I had skin problems. I ended up wearing a full face of pink pure zinc to protect it. I looked ridiculous with this bright pink face but I just wanted to surf!”

Evangeline Lilly and Dominic Monaghan are reportedly set to marry. The couple are said to be planning a quiet ceremony in Hawaii, as a tribute to ‘Lost’, the hit TV show on which they met.

A source said: “Evangeline and Dominic have been spending a lot of time together during the show’s hiatus and are very excited about the future. “Evangeline accepted Dom’s proposal while they were away together and they both agree Hawaii is the perfect place for the wedding – both as a location and for sentimental reasons.”

Evangeline and boyfriend Dominic Monaghan were snapped at an airport recently. Apparently the couple, who got back together earlier this year after a brief split, have been traveling the world together, while Evangeline is on hiatus from Lost.

Evangeline Lilly fell ill after her house became infested with mold. Evi admits she could have avoided being poisoned but was “too cheap” to move.

She told US talk show host Jay Leno: “I bought a house last summer and ended up finding out it was completely mold infested.

Evi appeared on Jimmy Kimmel Live last night. It’s always a funny interview when Evangeline is the guest – This time she’s eating a sub all the way through the interview and talks about her teeth.
