LOST IN YOUR OWN LIVINGROOM

Now you can stage your own episode of hit TV show Lost in your own home.

McFarlane Toys is creating 15cm-tall action figures based on the characters of the show, reported AP. The figures will go on sale at the end of the year.

The first batch will feature Jack (Matthew Fox), Kate (Evangeline Lilly), Hurley (Jorge Garcia), Locke (Terry O’Quinn), Charlie (Dominic Monaghan) and Shannon (Maggie Grace).

Each doll utters trademark phrases and comes complete with a detailed base and photographic backdrop, capturing an episode-specific moment in the character’s story.

McFarlane Toys boss Todd McFarlane – who has vowed to make only one production run of the dolls so that they may someday become collectors’ items – recently spent time with the cast on location in Hawaii to develop artistic likenesses of the stars.

LILLY STAYS LOYAL TO MONAGHAN

Lost beauty Evangeline Lilly insists there is no chance of her being unfaithful to co-star and real-life boyfriend Dominic Monaghan, because her fame frightens potential admirers.
The Canadian actress, who plays feisty Kate Austen on the desert island show, loves the fact men are now too intimidated to approach her.
And she warns that if a brazen suitor did approach, she’d have no qualms telling him to leave.
Lilly says, “It’s wonderful. They think, ‘She’s Kate. She’s Evangeline Lilly. She’s just not going to date me’, and leave me alone. Whereas if you’re just a cute girl hanging out in a bar, every Tom, Dick and Harry is trying to chat you up.
“I was always that girl in the bar who told everyone to get lost. Still am.”

EVANGELINE LILLY TRAPPED BY HER FAME

BEFORE scoring the role of Kate Austen on hit drama series Lost, Evangeline Lilly was deeply sceptical about the TV industry. She believed the business to be superficial, corrupt and ugly.

She confesses her views have now changed, saying: “I’ve come to realise there is so much beauty that comes out of this industry.”

And it’s now a by-product of her role in the show – public recognition – that causes her serious grief.

Leading up to her casting in Lost, Lilly was intensely private. She would go to acting classes and, “like a little mouse, make my notes, leave and never speak to anybody”.

Dealing with the sudden fame triggered an emotional meltdown as interest in Lilly reached ridiculous proportions – possibly because of a romance she won’t publicly confirm with co-star Dominic Monaghan (who plays heroin addict Charlie Pace).

LILLY’S LOST FAMILY

Hollywood beauty Evangeline Lilly loves working on hit TV show LOST because her co-stars have become like a family to her.
The Canadian actress, who plays striking Kate Austen on the show, is currently dating co-star Dominic Monaghan.
But she is also very close to the rest of the cast and greatly enjoys the bond they share as a group outside work.

Lilly says, “Each week we gather round someone’s house – the host will be the person whose episode is airing that night.
“The host provides the food and we all sit down to have dinner and watch the show. Then people hang around for drinks.
“When I hosted one of the parties I cooked for twenty-four hours. I made a slap-up six-course meal – I didn’t sleep!”

EVANGELINE LILLY: ‘ANGELINA IS MY ROLE MODEL’

Evangeline Lilly models herself after Angelina Jolie and dreams of following in the campaigning actress’ footsteps.

The Lost beauty insists she shares Jolie’s passion for charitable causes and her love of children too.

Lilly, who is dating Lost co-star Dominic Monaghan, says, “She’s a phenomenal example to young women because she’s a successful career woman, a humanitarian and a mother too.

“The concept of acting in movies, being an international delegate for the UN, adopting children and being a mother is so much responsibility. I have a lot of respect for her.

“If I could take one item to a desert island with me it would be a child to keep me going. I’ve been working with children for the last 10 years in so many different places and I love it.

“It’s something that drives me. When I was a young girl I used to say I wanted between 12 and 20 kids. Children will always be a huge part of my life.”

LILLY: ‘I’M MEAN’

LOST actress EVANGELINE LILLY refuses to subscribe to the Hollywood lifestyle, insisting she is too mean to spend her money on luxuries.
The Canadian star prefers second-hand clothes to designer fripperies, and lives modestly in a bid to keep her bank balance bulging. She says, “I love vintage and I love cheap. “I don’t have a nice house. I don’t have a nice car. I don’t like spending my money, so yeah, I am genuinely that cheap.”
