Evangeline Lilly says she regrets appearing in certain lads mags when she first started out on LOST. She says she only did it because she was told to and was too inexperienced to feel she could say no.

She explains, “I was inexperienced back then and quite trusting so I had to learn how to deal with that.

“There’s some ugly burned bridges in the past because I put my trust in people and they just didn’t follow through.

“I ended up in Maxim magazine and things like that and I would never in a million years be caught dead in those magazines. So I’m now with the right people and they understand me.”

ABC says the final season of “Lost” will begin in February with a night devoted to the drama.

An hour long special recounting the story line so far will air at 8 p.m. EST Tuesday, Feb. 2, followed by the two-hour season premiere.

“Lost” will move to its regular 9-10 p.m. EST time slot beginning the following week, on Feb. 9, the network said Thursday.

Evangeline Lilly has revealed that her social life suffers because she enjoys being alone.

Evangeline said: “It’s a real struggle for me – I am very independent and I do very well on my own.”

She added: “I don’t get lonely, really. I like to be alone. Some people have to focus to make themselves spend time on their own, but I’m okay with that. I’m the opposite. I’m always alone and I love it.”

Evangeline Lilly has said that she would never be able to pen a show like Lost.

Evi told Stylist that she will pursue writing after the end of Lost’s sixth and final season.

Lilly said: “Writing is my first passion. I can’t stop it. I write all the time so I want to either publish something I have written or sell a film script.”

October 17, 2009: Evangeline Lilly is seen out and about with some people in Hawaii. They enjoyed lunch together and were seen going around the shops in the area. Evi is looking very bruised on her arms, ouch! I guess they’re working her hard on LOST. x52 pictures have been added to the gallery!

September 15, 2009: Evangeline Lilly is spotted heading to the Hina’ea Spa in Maui for some pampering. Evi looked casual and comfy and wasn’t wearing any make-up. Check out all the pictures in the gallery! =)

Evangeline Lilly eats ‘whatever the hell’ she wants 24 hours before a big event. Evangeline restricts her diet for a week running up to a red carpet appearance, but doesn’t see the point in panicking in the last few hours before.

She explained: ‘I cut sugar and alcohol a week before an event. That trims the excess three to five pounds I like to carry to be healthy. The day before, I eat whatever the hell I want. I’m not going to put on weight in 24 hours.’

Here is Evangeline Lilly’s first L’oreal advert – it’s for the L’oreal Roll’on True Match Foundation and also features Eva Longoria Parker. I saw this for the first time a few days ago but I didn’t get a chance to record it.
